The Darien Rotary Club was chartered in 1974 by business professionals from the Darien community with a goal of providing service work, both local and international. Today, the Rotary Club supports several programs, including Backpack Food for Kids, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Shelter Box, Dictionaries for 3rd Graders, Darien DYC Scholarship Program, and DuPage National Alliance on Mental Health.
